COUPLES/INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLOR & PSYCHOSEXUAL THERAPIST

I work with individuals and couples who want to resolve what feels stuck and to move forward with clarity and depth.

You may be experiencing distance in your relationship, recurring conflict, or a shift in intimacy or trust. Communication may feel strained or no longer lead to resolution, leaving both of you feeling unheard or disconnected. At times, it can be difficult to understand how things have reached a point or how to begin changing it.

I offer a confidential, contained space to step back and understand what is driving current dynamics. Together, we make sense of what is happening beneath the surface and begin to reshape how you relate to yourself and to each other.

Couples work focuses on restoring communication, rebuilding trust, and re-establishing a connection that feels steady, respectful, and genuine.

How I Work

My approach is integrative and adapted to your relationship dynamics, personal history, and the complexity of what you are facing. Rather than applying a fixed method, I draw on a range of therapeutic models and select what is most relevant to your situation.

I work collaboratively, combining clear insight with measured challenge. This allows us to identify behavioural and relational patterns, understand underlying factors and begin to shift them in a way that brings change that is sustainable.

Our work may involve addressing communication difficulties, navigating relational strain, and exploring intimacy and sexual connection with care and precision. We may also look at longstanding relational styles, emotional responses, and the impact of external pressures such as work, responsibility, or life transitions.

The process within my sessions is structured and purposeful, while remaining responsive to the level of depth and pace that suits you.

Areas of Experience

• Psychotherapist Supporting individuals with anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, and major life changes, exploring past and present experiences to build greater understanding and support a more grounded future.

• Psychosexual Therapist Specialist support for intimacy, desire, sexual change or difficulties, and sexual wellbeing for individuals, couples/partners

• Couples & Partners Therapist Helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, reconnect emotionally and sexually, and navigate relationship change and challenges.

• Coach & Trainer Over 20 years’ experience in corporate and executive environments supporting stress management, burnout recovery, setting boundaries, workplace bullying, leadership challenges, and career change.

My corporate background, particularly working with teams, brings an additional layer of insight into the pressures of expectations, the need for clear communication, and where misunderstandings can arise. This blend of therapeutic and professional experience allows me to work comfortably in all areas where conflict or a break in connecting to each other may have happened.

What to Expect

You do not need to arrive with a clear formulation before starting.

Our initial sessions focus on developing a joint understanding of what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change or explore. For couples, this includes ensuring both perspectives are heard and understood from the outset. From there, the work becomes more focused and intentional in supporting you in how you can make these considered changes and move forward.
